Everything's in the cistern
This innovation from TECE turns the toilet cistern into a hygiene flushing station. For this purpose, we have integrated a hot water connection and a controller that can be programmed via Bluetooth using a smartphone into our toilet cistern in a compact assembly. With the new TECEprofil toilet module with integrated hygiene flush, operators fulfil their obligation to provide clean drinking water. Convenient, safe, economical.
When not in use: Ensure water exchange. Automatically.
The fact that drinking water systems in hotels, the housing industry or in hospitals are repeatedly not used for a longer period of time is normal in such facilities. How can a complete exchange of water be ensured even when the system is not in use? This cannot be achieved by clever pipe network design or stagnation-reducing components alone. At some point, however, the water must somehow be removed from the pipes. This can be done manually by service personnel. However, this can be done more safely, reliably and verifiably with automatic flushing stations. This enables the owner to fulfil his responsibility for a proper drinking water system.
Now also for pure cold water networks
Schools, trade, gastronomy and many other facilities with seasonal operation have their concerns with drinking water hygiene during downtimes, and not only in Covid-times. TECE is therefore launching the TECEprofil toilet module with integrated hygiene flush as a cold-water-only variant especially for cold-water installations, which are common in many toilet facilities.

The technology in the cistern
Pre-assembled components, digitally controllable.
- Max. Water pressure: 10 bar (1 MPa)
- Minimum flow pressure: 1 bar (0,1 MPa)
- Calculation flow: 5 l/min
A dynamic flow valve ensures a constant volume flow of 5 l/min in the working range from 1 to 10 bar. Over the calculated flushing time, the respective programmed flush volume is discharged.

TECEsmartflow - programmed in just a few steps
Programme:
Choose between the “Weekdays” and “Interval” flush programmes.
Interval:
The interval and the flush volume can be adjusted continuously. The interval timer is reset after a normal water withdrawal and restarts.
Weekdays:
Days and times at which flushing is to take place can be selected. Here, too, the flush volume can be adjusted continuously. Regular water use suspends the automatic flush scheduled for the day.
Flush volume:
The flush volumes for hot and cold water can be set independently of each other on each unit to the individual line volumes.

Drinking water hygiene safely under control - from anywhere
Whether it’s for larger or smaller systems: With the solutions from TECE, there is something suitable for every operator of drinking water installations.
Smaller facilities that do not have an active management and only require occasional logs to be retrieved can be configured and administered via a Bluetooth app.
Thanks to wireless mesh network technology, a stable and secure radio network spans all participating devices up to the gateway. With this energy-saving technology, not every device has to reach the gateway itself. If a device fails, stable communication continues via neighbouring devices. This is ideal for active facility management, where larger facilities need to be controlled across several buildings.
Programming via app for smartphone and tablet via Bluetooth directly on site or conveniently with the web application via remote access from the office. Both variants offer the full range of functions in terms of programming options for the hygiene flush.
TECE Gateway allows wireless integration of a TECE hygiene flush into the TECE Mesh network.

From centralised facility management via remote access, to programming many devices at the same time or quickly locating individual devices on site for servicing: TECEsmartconnect web application offers a wide range of practical functions for plumbers, operators and facility managers, from commissioning to monitoring and documentation. Clear dashboards make it easy to maintain an overview at every level.
The dashboard at the ‘properties’ level – everything at a glance
If several properties are managed for example by a centralised facility management team, the dashboard at the highest level provides a quick overview of all buildings and all installed devices. Error or status messages, logs and documentation as well as various programmes can be displayed comprehensively and at a glance. For more detailed information, individual buildings, floor plan views or devices can be accessed directly from here.

In addition to the list and status report of all installed appliances in this building, floor plans can also be stored here and various statistics on flushing processes or water consumption can be created.
The ‘floor plan view’ – simply maintain an overview
In the floor plan view, devices can be quickly and easily localised and monitored on site in the event of servicing. Fault messages are also displayed in the floor plan view. By clicking on the respective device, the operator receives the most important information in the quick overview and from there can jump directly to the device.

In device view, detailed information and status reports on the individual devices can be called up and the position in the floor plan be viewed.
Every piping system has room for reliability and hygiene
Example – Public/semi-public buildings: Looped series installation in a multi-toilet system
The TECEprofil toilet module with integrated hygiene flush is arranged as the last consumer in the drinking water installation so that the entire line content up to the riser pipe is replaced during an automatic flushing process. Thanks to the infinitely adjustable flush volume, even larger pipe volumes can be replaced. For example, in a public toilet with several consumers. In public and semi-public areas, the "Interval" flush programme is suitable for covering even shorter interruptions in use.
Example – Hotel: Bathroom installation with dual washstand and looped serial installation.
Also here, the TECEprofil toilet module with integrated hygiene flush is arranged as the last consumer in the drinking water installation. Hotel guests in occupied rooms should not be disturbed by an automatic hygiene flush. The "Weekdays" flush programme helps here. In this programme, the flush time can be selected so that there are usually no guests in the rooms at this time (e.g. 11:30 a.m.).
