TECE GmbH becomes TECE SE

Structural Foundation for International Growth 

TECE GmbH has successfully converted its legal form into a European Company (Societas Europaea, or SE). With the completed chain transformation, the company will now operate under the name TECE SE. This change of name reflects the increasing internationalization of the corporate group and a clear commitment to the European economic area and Germany as a business location. 

Family Business remains – Management becomes the Executive Board  

Even with the new legal form, TECE remains an independent family business with the Fehlings siblings as the sole shareholders. The leadership structure also remains unchanged: the authorized Executive Board of TECE SE will be formed by the previous management, with Peter Fehlings as the Chairman of the Executive Board, and André Welle and Dr. Michael Freitag. The former advisory board will form the new supervisory board. 

Internationalization as a Driver of Change  

The transformation to an SE underscores the growing importance of international business: more than half of the TECE Group's revenue is now generated in other countries, mainly in Europe. With subsidiaries, sales partners, and customers in numerous European countries, TECE has established itself as an innovative provider of sanitary and building technology solutions. The new legal form acknowledges this international commitment and at the same time creates the structural basis for further growth. 

Strong commitment to the Emsdetten location 

The company headquarters in Emsdetten in Münsterland will remain unchanged after the renaming. In addition to the corporate headquarters, research, development, and parts of the production are also located here. TECE is thus making an explicit commitment to its roots and to the region in which the company was founded almost 40 years ago. 

Legally compliant structure for the future 

By choosing the SE as its legal form, TECE has opted for a sustainable corporate model that is recognized throughout Europe. The new structure supports an international management culture, ensures the participation of owners and employees and offers long-term planning security for customers, partners and employees.
