For questions:

Saving water or flushing well?

With the TECE cistern both is possible.
The flush pressure can be flexibly adapted to any toilet regardless of the ceramics used. With conventional drain valves, the flush pressure can only be subsequently curtailed, but not increased. By exchanging the throttle ring installed as standard, the flush pressure can be subsequently increased. If there is overspray, it can of course also be reduced.

Save water when possible - flush well when necessary!

For years, leading ceramics manufacturers have been offering a special toilet bowl that can make do with a water-saving 4.5 litres for a full flush. As the appropriate dual-flush technology was not available, however, a single-flush system was used. As a result: flushing always required 4.5 litres of water, whatever the extent of one's "business", and the water saved through the full flush was wasted again.

Don't just reduce flushing pressure, increase it too.

The flushing pressure can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of any toilet, regardless of the ceramics used. Example: After installing the toilet, the ceramic isn't flushed properly. With conventional drain valves, the flushing pressure can only be subsequently reduced, but not increased. The TECE valve has a solution for this: By exchanging the throttle ring installed as standard, the flushing pressure can be subsequently increased. Of course it can also be reduced if there's excess splashing.

Full flush: 4.5/6/7.5 and 9 litres
Partial flush: 3 litres

By replacing the throttle ring in the valve seating, the flushing pressure can be reduced or increased.

With a simple slider, the fitter can choose between 4.5 / 6 / 7.5 and 9 litres for the full flush, while the reduced flush remains a constant 3 litres.

Maintenance and assembly

Maintenance is just as easy as assembly. When the valve is replaced, individual parts do not have to be removed or snapped out. The valve forms a unit in which all parts are permanently attached to each other.

Filling valve F 10 – always fits!

The universal valve for clever service technicians

Equipped with the new TECE filling valve F 10, the installation technician is ready for anything: Thanks to the accessories included, the F 10 filling valve is compatible with almost all cisterns and of course also with all TECE cisterns.

If the cistern is faulty, the customer expects the problem to be resolved rapidly. If the source of the problem is a faulty filling valve, the F 10 by TECE is the right spare part for the installation technician in many cases. Thanks to the new filling valve, the technician does not need to go to the warehouse or wholesaler, and can help the customer quickly and competently. The compatibility of the new valve with most third party cisterns available on the market makes the F 10 a really practical and universal solution. Cleverly worked out: A suitability list printed on the packaging will tell the technician in which cisterns produced by which manufacturer the filling valve F 10 will fit. Additionally, the valve complies with the sound protection requirements of acoustic group I and fills the cistern very quietly.

A universal solution for emergencies when third party cisterns go on strike: the service technician is on the safe side with the TECE filling valve F 10. It also fits in many non-TECE products, and, in addition, the filling sound is particularly quiet.

Universality is especially important for spare parts. It means that repairs for customers can be done straightaway on the first visit.

Sound insulation - copied from jet planes

Toilets without a flush rim are dominating the market due to their ease-of-cleaning and associated increase in hygiene. New designs and ceramic contours are always appearing. Accordingly, the demands on cisterns have also increased, as the rim design affects flushing and flush resistance. Consequently, sound effects or impact noises may occasionally be heard, emitted by the valve plate when the drain valve closes. For this reason, TECE has revised the time-tested drain valve with respect to sound insulation.

To optimise sound levels, it has applied a technical trick from the aviation industry. A chevron nozzle, similar to that of an aircraft turbine, has been fitted to optimise flow at the outlet. This ensures stable flow conditions and lower sound levels without slurping noises.
