Manoah: Oasis of Peace on Lake Zeulenroda
Manoah comes from Hebrew and means "place of peace." And indeed, it is a true oasis of relaxation, offered to relaxation-seeking and nature-loving vacationers at the exclusive MANOAH nature retreat on the lake. Nestled amidst lush forests, the three-hectare luxury vacation home complex in the Thuringian resort, with 21 chalet-like residences made of solid wood, impresses with its close proximity to nature and, at the same time, the highest level of comfort. The ideal place to enjoy a completely mindful and conscious vacation and leave everyday life behind.
Sustainability, regionality, and functionality were always at the forefront when the architectural firm Müller & Lehmann designed these extraordinary lakeside houses. From the very beginning, the involvement of regional companies and the use of sustainable building materials were of particular importance. For example, Thoma's Holz100 construction system completely avoids toxic wood preservatives, glues, and metal. Instead, wood from sustainable forestry and high-quality natural materials such as brick and natural slate are used. This environmentally friendly concept also impressed the jury of the 2020 Thuringian Energy Efficiency Award, which awarded MANOAH a silver medal.
Sustainability and luxurious design are also at the forefront of the interior design of the 60 to 80 m² holiday homes: The furnishings of the homes emphasize a puristic and natural Scandinavian look. State-of-the-art sanitary technology from TECE also meets the highest standards of comfort and design in the bathrooms, completing MANOAH's high-quality overall concept.
