A sustainable collaboration with TECE
Elvebredden at Kongsvinger Station is a modern office building developed by Bane NOR Eiendom with clear ambitions in terms of sustainability and quality. The project is the first building in Norway to be certified as BREEAM-NOR Outstanding according to the new v6 manual, and places high demands on both the choice of materials and the technical solutions. To meet these requirements, sophisticated sanitary solutions from TECE were chosen, combining operational reliability, functionality, and reduced resource consumption.
Sanitary solutions that save resources
In an office building with high usage and long service life requirements, robust, efficient, and maintenance-friendly sanitary solutions are crucial. TECEprofil toilet modules were used in the toilets at Elvebredden in combination with white TECEbase flush plates.
The TECEprofil toilet module is a flexible and reliable installation system that has been developed to function equally well in new buildings and in complex projects with strict environmental requirements. The system offers high operational reliability, easy installation, and a long service life, which contributes to lower replacement and maintenance requirements over time. The cisterns are designed for water-saving dual flushing, which contributes to lower water consumption and compliance with BREEAM requirements.
The TECEbase flush plate made of white plastic has a timeless and neutral design that blends in well with the modern interior of the building. The flush plate is durable, easy to clean, and user-friendly, making it well suited for office buildings with many users. The combination of functionality and clear design contributes to both a good user experience and efficient operation.
A role model
Elvebredden demonstrates how ambitious sustainability goals can be put into practice through the conscious selection of solutions and products. The collaboration between the client, contractor, and suppliers has resulted in an office building that sets a new standard for environmental certification in Norway.
TECE's sanitary solutions laid the foundation for a building that not only functions well today, but is also equipped to meet future requirements in terms of sustainability, efficient use of resources, and durability. Elvebredden is thus a showcase project – both for the development of transport hubs and for how technical solutions can contribute to holistic sustainability.
