Seamless floor coverings with TECEdrainline for liquid floors
Seamless room design right into the shower area with TECE
With the continuing trend towards minimalist bathroom design, TECE is launching a new shower channel variant on the market - for seamless floor coverings as if they were cast from a single mould. Thanks to the mineral cast coating, filler floors adhere excellently to TECEdrainline, creating a consistent purist look without any material interruptions. With various drain options and optional assembly feet, the solution is suitable for almost all installation situations.
Modern bathrooms are increasingly focussing on continuous materials that create a visually expansive space thanks to seamless floor coverings. However, compromises often had to be made in the shower area until now. With TECEdrainline, filler floors can now be extended into the shower without interruption. This is made possible by a mineral cast coating on the channel flange and insert, to which filler floor coverings adhere excellently. All that remains is a narrow water inlet similar to a shadow gap.
A solution for customised and uncompromisingly minimalist design
The shower channel set consists of a channel body and insert made of 1.4301 (304) stainless steel. The channel flange and insert are coated with mineral cast for adhesive installation with liquid floors. The Seal System sealing collar is already factory-fitted. The drain, which must be ordered separately, is available in four different versions: one vertical version and three lateral versions at different heights. This provides maximum design freedom for planning and installation. Optional assembly feet also allow flexible height adjustment and positioning of the channel body in the screed during installation.
Liquid floors seamlessly integrated into the shower area
Whether microcement, mineral smoothing compound or even liquid plastic - liquid floors are popular and widely used in modern, minimalist bathroom designs thanks to individual materials. The visual advantage: The fewer visual anchors the eye detects on floor or wall, the larger the room appears. TECEdrainline for liquid floors emphasises this effect. The result is a harmonious bathroom setting that brings together seamless functionality and restrained elegance.
