TECE once again leads the way in product data quality – premium certification confirmed
The quality of product data is now a decisive factor for efficient processes in wholesale and trade. TECE has been setting standards in this area for years – and this is regularly confirmed.
The ‘Open Datacheck’ platform, operated by the German Wholesale Association for Building Services (DG Haustechnik), provides master data from around 200 manufacturers in the sanitary and heating industry. Over 80% of wholesalers in the German-speaking market use this service. What makes it special is that the data quality of manufacturers is rated on a scale of 1 to 100. TECE regularly achieves top scores and has once again been certified as a top performer. The high data quality provides noticeable advantages for wholesalers: they can use the data directly without time-consuming post-processing or queries.
The check is carried out in accordance with the applicable industry standards and includes criteria such as accuracy and completeness. Manufacturers receive detailed test reports so that they can continuously optimise their data. For wholesalers, this means access to uniform, high-quality product data – simply and reliably.
At the same time, TECE provides trade-specific data via the ZVSHK's ‘Open Datapool’ platform. In addition, all planning data, tender data, images, dimensional drawings and installation and maintenance instructions are available via the SHK industry portal of ARGE Neue Medien. TECE has also submitted all current product master data to building-masterdata.com (ARGE portal) for the 2026 price list. The data is automatically transferred to ‘Open Datacheck’ and verified in accordance with the currently valid DQR 10 data quality guideline.
Premium Certification 'Grüner Haken Plus'
In addition to the well-known ‘Grünen Haken’ (green tick) for meeting the minimum requirements of the DQR, the premium certification ‘Grüner Haken Plus’ has been available since April 2025. This is awarded when data deliveries exceed the DQR and meet additional market requirements – including REACH, GTIN data, ETIM EC data, marketing texts, technical drawings, assembly instructions and more.
Of 113 ARGE members, 95 currently have the ‘Grünen Haken’ and 28 have the ‘Grüner Haken Plus’. TECE is once again one of the premium-certified members and fulfils at least 11 of 13 optional categories.
91 points on the wholesale scorecard
German wholesalers also confirm the high quality of our master data: with 91 out of 100 points on the scorecard, we are well above the standard value of 50 points for mandatory requirements. This underlines our commitment to providing our partners with the best possible data quality.
