TECEfloor Smart-Home: modular design of temperature and energy management
Clever smart home systems continue to enjoy great popularity. However, the requirements for how smart the home should actually be vary greatly. With TECEfloor Smart Home, the system grows with the requirements: from the intelligent room thermostat and central temperature and humidity management to the voice-controlled Smart Home for all networked devices. To make the installation and set-up of these systems really "smart" for the installer, TECE relies on modules in several expansion stages for TECEfloor: In addition to the basis, the so-called individual room control (module 1) and the system management (module 2), the new central unit (module 3) now optimally rounds off the room management. With just one single system, a wide variety of systems and tasks can be easily realised or retrofitted at a later date.
Smart modules - can be individually combined
From room-by-room management to centralised control of all system elements: With TECEfloor Smart-Home, all components work together. Module 1, the individual room control, is the basis of smart room management. TECE room thermostats with integrated temperature and humidity sensors reliably record the room climate and communicate bidirectionally by radio with the TECEfloor control manifold, which controls the supply to the individual zones. With additional functions such as time programming, dew point monitoring and floor sensors, the TECE room thermostats ensure a comfortable climate room by room. Module 2, the system management, is the intelligent interface from the individual room control to the central system technology. It also communicates bidirectionally by radio with the control manifolds of the individual room control. As an interface to the individual room control, it has two potential-free inputs, each for switching from heating to cooling and for a central dew point monitor. This makes it possible to set the individual room control system centrally from the heat/cooling generator to heating or cooling mode without having to set each individual room control system separately. New: Everything under control with the central unit More than just individual room control: In the third expansion stage of the modular TECEfloor Smart Home control system - the central unit - all system elements and systems come together. This is where the functions and statuses of all previously paired devices and optional accessories such as radiator thermostats, wireless sockets and wireless switching modules are monitored and controlled. Communication takes place via radio. A WIFI interface to the home WLAN router also enables optional access via app or with common voice controls via smartphone. The central unit can either be mounted on a flush-mounted box or powered with a table stand using a USB charging cable. In both cases, it can be removed for convenient programming thanks to battery buffering.
Simply intuitive: the TECE Smart Comfort app
The TECE Smart Comfort app is the mobile extension of the central unit. A WiFi interface in the TECEfloor Smart Home control unit enables access via the associated TECE Smart Comfort app or with common voice controls. As a mobile addition to the central unit, this makes it easy to control all connected devices from anywhere at any time. The intuitive and easy-to-understand user interface makes programming simple and smart. The latest encryption technologies protect data transmission reliably and securely.
Intelligent add-ons
Accessories such as switching modules or wireless switches for dehumidifiers, smart radiator thermostats and intermediate sockets for mobile dehumidifiers round off the system perfectly. Control is also simple here, either via app, central unit or voice control.
