Gold for TECEdrainway – TECE receives two iF DESIGN AWARDS 2026

TECE received two prestigious iF DESIGN AWARDS this year. The TECEdrainway shower channel received the highest award in the competition, the iF GOLD AWARD 2026. In addition, the TECEneo shower toilet was also honoured with an iF DESIGN AWARD 2026.

Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD has been regarded as one of the world's most prestigious seals of quality for outstanding design and honours excellent design in numerous disciplines. Both products received the design award in the discipline product design within the category bathroom. Out of more than 10,000 entries from 68 countries, TECEdrainway was one of only 75 winners to receive the Gold Award. In addition to its clear aesthetics, the jury was also impressed by the technical implementation.

TECEdrainway blends harmoniously into the transition between wall and floor and, in the brushed brass version on light marble tiles, creates a stylish ambience. The shower channel impressed the jury with its elegant and minimalist design and received the iF GOLD AWARD 2026.

Gold for minimalist shower design

With TECEdrainway, TECE has developed a new generation of linear drainage for floor-level showers. The shower channel was especially designed for the integration in the wall-to-floor transition and, thanks to its minimalist design, blends almost invisibly into the shower area. The ultra-slim design opens up new creative opportunities in bathroom architecture. TECEdrainway is available in four colour variants: brushed black, brushed bronze, brushed brass and brushed stainless steel.

TECEdrainway offers generous adjustment options and allows flexible installation. The drain can be adjusted regardless of the connection point of the waste water pipe. This simplifies installation and avoids additional connection points in the screed.

This generation of shower channels also sets new standards in terms of functionality: optimised water flow conditions and an integrated 3D gradient support improved water drainage and ensure a self-cleaning effect in daily use. The high-quality, PVD surface finish also increases durability and is easier to clean.

In addition to TECEdrainway, the TECEneo shower toilet also received the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026. The product combines a minimalist, classically modern design with a deliberately simple technical solution.

Cleaning is purely hydraulic, so there is no need for electronics. All functions are harmoniously integrated into the ceramic design and blend unobtrusively into different bathroom architectures. The jury particularly praised the clear design language, the high-quality ceramics and the user-centred concept.
