Even more design freedom: TECE launches three new shower surfaces made of mineral cast
The time has come: In Summer 2026 TECE is expanding its drainage range with three new shower surfaces made of mineral cast. The models offer a high degree of flexibility in planning and installation. Whether flush with the floor, installed on screed or directly on existing tiles - the new TECE mineral cast shower surfaces are equally suitable for new construction projects as well as renovations and create maximum design freedom for modern shower areas.
Mineral cast is characterised by its soft-warm surface, sound-absorbing properties and high material density. The slip-resistant, easy-care surface also ensures safety and comfort in daily use.
The background: thanks to its low thermal conductivity, mineral cast is pleasantly warm to the touch, as body heat does not dissipate quickly. At the same time, the material’s dense structure effectively reduces sound, so that dripping and flowing noises are significantly reduced. This creates calmness and comfort in the bathroom.
Three models for different design and functional requirements
With the three models TECEtones, TECEup and TECEcore, TECE offers targeted solutions for different design and functional requirements. TECEtones turns colour into a design element: the shower surface is available in 20 selected basic and trend colours. This emphasises its striking geometry and opens up a new scope for expressive bathroom designs. TECEup enables maximum flexibility on the construction site: Non-visible edges can be individually cut to size - from cut-outs for shafts and adjustments to niches or a precise fit for complex floor plans. Design and function are perfectly combined. TECEcore offers design freedom down to the last detail: thanks to its consistently identical material properties, even visible edges can be custom-cut on the construction site, for example to perfectly accommodate the subsequent tile grid, without offsets or uneven joints.
